Would you look at that, after all we went through to challenge the Separate Car Act the Supreme Court still managed to flub the verdict. In a 7-1 vote they ruled the act as constitutional. Seriously what is the country falling to. I feel bad for Mr. Plessy, he will probably have to go to jail now. It's a shame really, sending a man to jail for standing up for what he believes. But, that seems to be the concept of our judicial system so there's nothing I can do about it.

There was one man, John Harlan, the lone dissenter. He seemed like he had the right head on his shoulders, giving a strong opinion. Who knows, maybe one day his dissent will be used in future cases.
